Cecilia (Sanchez) Rivera, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away August 31, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Miguel Rivera. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Manuel N. and Maria F. (Colon) Sanchez. She has worked as a sewing machine operator for many years before her retirement. Cecila was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church and Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: children- Karen E. Salasky of Bethlehem, Debra A. Soto of FL, Miguel A. Rivers Jr. of Allentown; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings- Manuel Sanchez Jr., Israel Sanchez, Hilwmanada Ruiz, Hilda Rivas, Rosael Sanchez.

Gisella Rhodes
Gisella A. Rhodes (Stella) of Bethlehem passed away February 13, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband William Rhodes and Son Timothy Rhodes. Survivors are daughters Terri Rhodes, Rita Nairns (Jack), Daughter in Law Diane Rhodes, Sons James Rhodes (Tina), Robert Rhodes (Jack). Grandchildren are Michael Nairns (Faith), Angela Nairns, James Rhodes (Tara),Jennifer Fauntleroy (Alex), Arin Doerfler (Thomas), Lauren Rhodes Stella also had eight Great-grandchildren. Services will be held February 24th at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a viewing at 9AM and a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00AM. Burial will be at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery Northampton.
Carolyn Rego
Carolyn J. (West) Rego, 74, of Bethlehem, passed away September 6, 2022. Born in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Silas and Caroline (Corbin) West. Carolyn was a graduate of Liberty High School and earned her degree in Medical Billing from Northampton County Community College. She worked as a seamstress for many years, Administrator at Dun & Bradstreet and then Lost River Caverns gift shop before her retirement. Carolyn enjoyed doing different arts and crafts including plastic canvas and crocheting and jewelry making. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: son- Kevin Rego of Wilson Boro; daughter- Becky Rego of Freemansburg; grandchildren- Gavin Nagy, Kayla Nagy, Mason Rego and Natalie Rego; sisters- Germaine West Gugliuzza and Charlotte West Nelson; brother- Wesley West; long-time friends- Bernice Sandy and Pat Anderson. She was predeceased by her brothers- Silas West Jr. and Warner West and her sisters- Darlene West and Joanne West Todarro

Candelario Rosado
Candelario “Kenny” Rosado, 77, of Bethlehem, passed away April 7, 2021. He was the loving husband to Maria E. (Valcarcel) Rosado. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Enrique and Isidra (Morales) Rosado. Kenny enjoyed reading, watching tv and collecting items. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors: wife- Maria E. Rosado; sons- Kenny Rosado Jr. and wife Wanda, Angel M. Rosado and wife Lydia; grandchildren- Jennifer, Tiffany, Christina, Stephanie, Abigail, Lauren, Steven and Kenneth; 12 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 10th 1-3PM with a Service at 3PM in Downing Funeral Home, Inc. 1002 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
Lucille Ring
Lucille R. (Kotran) Ring, 88, of Allentown passed away February 4th 2020. She was loving wife of the late Robert Ring. Born in January 1932, she was the daughter of the late Genevieve (Seng) and Paul Kotran. She graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School. Lucille worked for many years at Macy’s Dept. Store, Levine’s, and Sheridan School.
Survivors: Daughter- Julie Ann and husband Kevin O’Brien; Sons- Bill Ring and wife Patrice and Tom Ring; 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren; 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She was predeceased by her son- Robert Ring Jr. and granddaughter- Kelly.
Suely as she was referred to by her siblings lived a full life and had many hobbies and interests. She especially loved spending time with her Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren. She was an avid reader, card player and played tennis for over 30 years. Her favorite pastime was the Penny slots at any Casino, she was a Major Sports Fan, especially for her Alma Mater and loved her Horse Skunky, which she rode for many years. She was an accomplished Sewer and was always up for a Road Trip to spend time with her family and many friends. Lucy aka 2 Grams was an active member of the Senior Center in Allentown.

Anne Rozum
Anne M. Rozum, 95, of Sacred Heart Senior Living Center Valley, formerly of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Fort Myers, Florida and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2019. Anne was the widow of Dr. Joseph I. Rozum who passed away in 1978. Anne was born in Garnerville, NY and was the daughter of the late Joseph Slosarcik and Mary (Petrus) Slosarcik of Gary, Indiana. Anne was a graduate of St. Mary’s Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Gary, Indiana. Anne was a registered nurse while residing in Gary, Indiana before moving to Pennsylvania. Anne worked at Community General Hospital in Reading. She also worked with her husband, the late Dr. Joseph Rozum, at his Dental practice in Reading, Pennsylvania. Anne was very proud of her Slovak heritage and cooked many wonderful Slovak meals.
Survivors: Anne is survived by her three children: John K. Rozum and his wife Jill (Berkenstock) of Sinking Spring; JoAnn M. (Rozum) Righi wife of Robert J. Righi of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Joseph J. Rozum of Woodland Hills, California. Four Grandchildren: Shane Rozum, Jason Rozum, Katie Jo Righi, Rebecca Jo Righi and two great grandchildren: Kylie Rozum and Gabriella Rowe. Anne was predeceased by her loving husband, Dr. Joseph Rozum and her infant son, Andrew.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Friday, June 21st in Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 730 West Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Graveside Service will follow on Friday, June 21st at 1PM in Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605.

Richard Rodriguez
Richard Rodriguez, 47, of Bethlehem, passed away January 5, 2019. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of Edwin Rodriguez and Elizabeth (Huertas) Hothouse. He will be deeply missed and loved.
Survivors: father- Edwin Rodriguez and companion Catherine Weiss and her daughter Michele; mother- Elizabeth and husband Everett Hothouse and his children Kathy, Marisol and Everett III; son- Richard Rodriguez and his mother Elizabeth Diaz; maternal grandfather- Luis Huertas; paternal grandmother- Nerida Molina; brother- Raymond Rodriguez and fiancé Denise; companion- Dana Sykes; aunts- Mercedes, Maria, Mary, Diane, Rosemary and family; uncle- Trini, Freddie and wife Betsy; cousin-Nina and husband James; nieces- Jasmine, Elizabeth and Lea; nephew- Raymond Rodriguez Jr.; many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother- Edwin Rodriguez and grandfather- Luis Ramos.

Valerie Rudolph
Valerie A. Rudolph, 45, of Slatington, passed away November 18, 2018. Born in Fountain Hill, she was daughter of Steven and Carol (Litzenberger) Rudolph. She was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church of Christ in Cherryville. Valerie enjoyed helping others and doing artwork such as coloring and drawing. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Survivors: parents- Steven and Carol Rudolph; son- Tyler Roberts; Fiancé- Tom Sokol and his son-Eric Sokol; sister- Lisa Murphy; 2 nieces & 2 nephews. She was predeceased by her brother- Steven Rudolph.
